Let’s talk about it for a second. Raise your hand if you picked something out in the store that you loved; a dangly pair of earrings, a sassy new nail polish, a cute tank top, then you walked around the store with it for 10 minutes and then put it back… because SAME.

Spending money on ourselves is something that we all struggle with.

Whether you are a parent, have student loans, car payments… the list is endless. I know that feeling well, I am right there with you. Literally every single woman who has contacted me has the same fears and struggles when it comes to investing in themselves. I can tell you your exact excuse, too.

I don’t NEED it.

Am I right? I know I am because I say the same thing.

You don’t need what exactly? Self-love, self-care. You don’t need to know that you are worthy that you have value? That is BS. We all need these things to be our best selves. The way you feel about yourself is the foundation for everything else in your life.

When you love the skin you’re in, when you are proud of yourself, when you are confident, you affect everything, and everyone else in your life. That is when you provide the most value to your kids, to your job, to your partner. Show yourself the love you deserve. Show yourself that you have value. Show yourself that you are worthy of good things.

Buy the earrings, get the mani-pedi, book that boudoir experience. You DO deserve it. You are allowed to have it.

You do NEED it.

Do not allow yourself to feel guilty or selfish when you fill your own cup.
