Photographing a photographer's wife!

I'm going to be completely honest here, doing Bethany's session was just as nerve wracking for us as it was for her.  The reason she was having boudoir photos done was because she was getting married.  We have clients like that regularly, but the difference here is that Bethany is getting married to a fellow photographer that Max and I know.  Eeek!!!  We knew we could create beautiful photos of Bethany beyond a shadow of a doubt, but we really felt the pressure to do the very best job possible. In the end it turned out to be a piece of cake anyways, Bethany has such a great personality and was very easy to relate to, not to mention this woman is gorgeous!!!! After over a MONTH of waiting for their wedding day, he finally messaged me today (on their wedding day!) to thank us for the photos.  Woo hoo!  Mission accomplished! When I was writing this blog I found and re-read Bethany's testimonial.  It made me tear up (again) because it means so much to be to be able to allow women to love their bodies and to see them as we see them.  Beautiful.

"Doing a shoot with Breathless Boudoir was one of the coolest experiences ever- way beyond what I expected it to be.  I originally decided to do a boudoir shoot as a surprise for my husband-to-be for our wedding.  I had considered some other  boudoir photographers in the area, but my fiance is a professional photographer himself, and hence a total photography snob.  I remembered him months back mentioning that he knew Jen & Max- He spoke so highly of them and how much he admired their work.  In addition, our amazing wedding photographer could not say enough great things about them.  It was clear who I had to go to for my boudoir shoot. Being able to see the shots after my session was incredible.  I audibly gasped and had my jaw dropped when I saw them because I couldn't believe how good they were!!  I had walked in thinking I needed to pick one photo that I could tolerate enough to have printed and give to my fiance.  But I actually loved so many that I had trouble paring down the shots to fit into a book!! I have NEVER liked photos of myself with clothes on or liked the way my body looked, so it was nothing short of revolutionary to actually love pictures of myself in lingerie, and I entirely have Jen & Max and their artistry to thank for it! My motivation for the shoot may have been a gift for my fiance, but really it ended up being the biggest gift to myself.  I would recommend a Breathless Boudoir shoot for any woman looking for the ultimate self-esteem tuneup.  The confidence and smile I've been wearing since my shoot has been priceless-THANK YOU JEN & MAX!!!"
