Book a shoot!

Fear is something I acknowledge and allow myself to feel | Baton Rouge

That’s what she said…

What was your biggest fear prior to your session?

Fear is something I try to acknowledge and allow myself to feel. My fears prior to this photo shoot consisted of not being able to let go and be sexy on camera. I’ve only had one photography look my whole life-look straight at the camera and smile! I also feared that the photos would not be perfection. I’m a life long perfectionist and want everything I do to be just that way. Once the clothes came off and the photo shoot started, my fear of not feeling sexy vanished and I focused completely on Jen’s directions. I had to release the perfectionism and embrace the real me in that moment. Was I perfect? No but I was still stunning.

What was your favorite part?

It is cliche to say but it is empowering. To know that I am capable of oozing sexuality and showcasing excellent physical condition at my age is uplifting and motivating-hopefully not just to me, but to others as well. I also loved the creative aspect of the photo shoot and experimenting with the human form.

How would you describe your experience to your best friend?

I would say you just have to do this for yourself. Every woman and man should…the experience can not really be described. I would say though that the resulting photographs tell a
story and the process allows you to love and accept your body and spirit completely.

Would you do it again?

In a heartbeat. I want to explore outdoor scenic boudoir photography!
